Genetic Diversity Analysis and Core Collection Construction of the Actinidia chinensis Complex (Kiwifruit) Based on SSR Markers

Kiwifruit belonging to the Actinidiaceae family is a perennial, dioecious vine called ‘the king of fruits’ due its considerably nutritious and sweet characteristics. A. chinensis complex, including two main groups, var. deliciosa, major component Actinidia their huge economic value high degree development utilization. Wild resources are widely distributed in China, but under serious threat extreme environments destroyed habitats. Thus, it great significance for conservation kiwifruit sustainable industry evaluate genetic diversity existing systematically construct core collection complex. In this study, 40 polymorphism microsatellites markers were used investigate all accessions from A total 888 alleles marked with 22.2 each locus. The expected heterozygosity was 0.846, observed 0.622, information content 0.835, Shannon index 2.369. Among these loci, 38 loci lower than expected. inbreeding coefficient 0.257, which indicates that frequent hybridization occurred between close relatives. Analyses molecular variance showed variations mainly came population. Finally, containing 93 constructed. bank not only perfectly represented original population, also had excellent potential Our research provides crucial reference future conservation, germplasm identification, breeding kiwifruit.
